Good point about the suicide reference. I guess I don't see the point

to keeping it like it is now given that DH vs. no DH was the driving factor behind the 2 leagues. Whereas East vs. West, even if MLB kept AL and NL, could take advantaged of the increased regional games (i.e. Balt. vs. GNats, Philly, even Pitt, etc.) instead of limiting them to only a few series throughout the year. Would O's fans rather see their team play the GNats, Philly, and Pitt more than Toronto, Detroit, or the Guardians *snicker*?
